Alef Press

Alef Press is an independent publisher in Ash Grove of the Battenkill Valley where the Green Mountains of Vermont meet the Adirondack foothills.

Alef is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Its name sounds a lot like "olive." An alef press prints Hebrew books; an olive press produces olive oil. From the Hebrew word for olive oil comes the word "Messiah," and it is our sincere hope that our work be Messiah-powered and Messiah-honoring.
